The Institute for International Maritime Studies is a not for profit research and academic institution with an international scope and activities. Its researchers and faculty members have a global expertise and a long and deep academic and professional experience in the domains of shipping, maritime management, shipping business, maritime economics, marine law and protection of the marine environment. The Institute in collaboration with eminent national and international scientists, competent in marine science and business, publishes also a scientific periodical, the Journal of International Maritime Research.
